Jean Dupond -— Associate
Mr. Dupond has more than 12 years of experience in the telecommunications
industry, focused on next generation technology, configuration methodology,
network deployment, service level agreements, and access management.
He has developed transmission technologies across a variety of countries, and has become an expert in Sonet/SDH, radio, and WDM network engineering and deployment, engineering of Ethernet access, and Layer 1 and 2 over Internet Protocol.
As an Engineer Project Manager in the telecommunications company Equant,, Mr. Dupond successfully led an access optimization program in Europe, negotiated upstream transmission agreements, was in charge of backbone routing and QOS, and conducted sophisticated analysis of carrier offerings to align with the company's technical strategy.
Four the past four years, Mr. Dupond has led the advanced transmission course for the Master of Telecommunications Program (ISARC) at the University of Marseilles. He holds degrees in math and in physics from the University of Montpellier, as well as and M.S. in Telecommunications from the University of Marseilles.
Mr. Dupond lives in Paris and is a fan of MTB.
